As a caregiver for seniors in my 20’s, I witnessed firsthand how healing touch can be. I’m so grateful that it led me to Massage Therapy as I am continually learning more and more about the body, about caring for our complex nervous system and about the fascinating network of muscles surrounding it. I became licensed in Washington
State and spent 5 years practicing at a medical massage clinic with an amazing group of knowledgeable therapists. We provided a high percentage of insurance work and, because of that, I am very comfortable caring for tissue and joints which have been through various types of trauma. I use a variety of techniques and tools to open up restrictions in tissue and to gain more movement and
function. These can include Ashiatsu, cupping, Gua Sha, stretching, neuromuscular reeducation and relaxation massage. I also can provide pregnancy massage and intraoral massage for jaw issues. My intention
is to facilitate a space where people leave feeling more connected to their body than when they arrived.

I am looking forward to continue growing and expanding my skills set in this new environment now that I have moved to Reno with my husband (writer of worlds) and Fozzy (part Bassett, all Hound). I have felt Nevada’s warm embrace and am excited to put down roots in this
remarkable area.
